Kentec has participated in the design and development of a Port Approach Control (PAC) system for monitoring maritime traffic in the vicinity of a major Italian port.

Kentec's role in this multi disciplinary project included:

• Radar signal acquisition & processing
• Design and realisation of automatic and dynamic filters for anti-rain / anti-clutter
• Target analysis
• Maritime traffic tracking and control
• Remote radio communications to the database and reporting sub system
