Kentec has participated in the design and development of an industrial prototype vision system for grading ceramic tiles for a leading Italian manufacturer of ceramic machinery.

During this long and complex project Kentec worked in a senior role on the design, the realisation and field testing of vision software for the following aspects of the prototype:

- Tone analysis
- Decoration analysis
- Surface defect analysis

Field trials of this prototype were successfully performed in a selected number of key factories in Italy.
